ARE YOUR PRODUCTS WATERPROOF?

Yes, yes and yes!
It’s well-known that circuit boards and liquids don’t mix. We specifically designed our gear to protect vulnerable electronics from water and other elements, even in full immersion. While most of the brands out there use the world “waterproof” to define just water-resistant standards, here at MOW we take water very seriously.

MOW’s Waterproof grades:
Under each product features you will find mainly two waterproof grades:

Full water immersion, technically, IPX7 and IPX8 (Immersion, up to 1 meter (3 ft 3 in) depth and more). One of the highest protections against water in commerce right now.Temporary water immersion, technically IPX4 and IPX5 (splashing in water, water jets and temporary immersion). Secure enough to withstand to any weather conditions.

All our gear is designed and manufactured to reach extreme waterproof standards.
Yet every single item has specific functions and features. For further information please check our “features” section in each product page.

Radio frequency welded seams and roll top closing:
All our items’ seams are radio frequency welded (or if not bags are inner taped); it means fabric layers are actually welded together without any stiches or holes. Our bags main compartment is fully waterproof without stiches, zips or any other workmanship that might weaken the airtight roll top closing. It is the safest workmanship to avoid water leaking, studied for extreme water sports as scuba diving, sailing, surfing, canyoning.

Shell Fabric:
The Tarpaulin shell fabric is designed to stand up to 100.000 mm of water column. A fabric is considered waterproof if it has a water column of 1,500 mm or more. You can’t really go wrong with this rule. Over that we used DWR finishing (Durable Water Repellent) to add an extra lamination to both fabric sides that results in extra water resistance.

Other materials:
Fabrics, linings, paddings, coating, accessories and workmanship are carefully selected and manufactured to stand to extreme weather conditions, including water immersion, sand, dust, dirt, freezing and shock absorbing grade. No more wet sponges on your back padding, air flow and waterproof ergonomic paddings will make a solid difference in your day!

CAN I SWIM IN OPEN WATER WITH ANY OF YUOUR ITEMS?

Yes, you can! Close the roll top in full immersion mode and dive fearlessly.
We test all our gear to resist to any weather condition as typhoons, snowstorms and the heaviest rain you might be exposed to including full water immersion. Whatever considers the products’ grade of waterproofness specified under the section bags/features.

Can I jump in water with my new bag?
Yes! We highly suggest to master the different closing methods before any full immersion. Make your own tests first, learn how to use the bags and then try your skill with full immersion mode. Only the waterproof closing mode is watertight and will withstand full immersion.

Can I use the packs as a safety tool in the water?
No. We haven’t designed or tested the pack as safety tool. We highly suggest you to try the pack in water only if you are a professional swimmer. So don’t rely on the pack for swimming if you are not a good swimmer.
In no case shall mow-wear.com, our founders or directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, temporary or permanent injured and life loss whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DRY YOUR PRODUCT?

Our gear dries just in seconds! No more wet sponges on your back and shoulders.

Fabrics, paddings, linings, back construction, shoulder straps, zips and all of the accessories are meticulously selected to be waterproof & quick dry materials. On the other side back support, shoulder straps and paddings ardesigned to support your heavy loads with ergonomic shapes and comfortable materials. You do not have to worry anymore about time; your bags will dry faster than your swimming clothes.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS RESISTANT TO ANY OTHER ELEMENTS?

Yes! We start from yarn torsion to final shell lamination to reach the safest possible product and to resist at:

Are MOW’s bags fully compatible to each other’s?
Yes, our bags can be configurated with each other’s!
You can attach and detach them by secure tech Velcro system mixed with an extra security locking system.

Can I purchase a single item?

Are there any add-ons for the full set?

ARE MOW’s PACKS CARRY-ON?

Yes! All our bags are carry-on. Thousands digital nomads around the World traveled free and worry- less with our waterproof gear.
MOW Minimal Organised Wear is not liable for special carry-on policy, please remember to check specification on your booking reservations before deciding how to pack yours stuff.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY ORDER?

Each single item comes with some accessories (if we design and include any). The full set comes with everything we can think of, including bags and accessories combos.

DO YOUR PRODUCTS COME WITH A WARRANTY?

All products sold by MOW are covered by a warranty of 12 (Twelve) months for any lack of conformity, manufactures defects, failures or breakages that turns the product non-functional.

We are a small start-up and we stand in front of our product quality and innovation.
The 12 (twelve) months warranty is a time frame, indeed necessary for our legal entity. But we are humans, we believe in your support and feedbacks and without your help we would never stand where we are now.

We cannot wait to hear your voice about our product functionality and waterproofness so write us your ideas to mow’s support and we will assist you in any of our item (s) failures and breakage – for a real-life time!

MOW’s 12 (twelve) months warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, normal wear and tear, or negligence (no, we won’t replace your bag if is purposely damaged). This warranty also does not cover cosmetic issues. If your bag doesn’t have any scratches, you’re probably not going hard enough. But if you ever experience a manufacturing defect that affects the functionality of the product – we will either repair or replace your product.
We reserve the right to not replace any item that you poured concrete in, a purposely unwelded seams or broke stiches, clips you used to hammer with your gardening, a strap that your iron melted, and so forth. We also reserve the right to change this policy in the future.

Do I have to return my dameged items?
Yes, we do expect to have all defective items returned to our warehouse within 20 business days of claim date. Failure to return damaged items may result in a declined warranty claim.

Can I just get a refund instead?
We are sorry but we don’t offer refunds and returns for items qualifying for warranty coverage. If approved we will send you a replacement of the item in question. We don’t allow for item exchanges at this time as well.

Do I have to pay import taxes on my international warranty replacement?
You may be charged import taxes on your warranty replacement as this is still a new product coming from abroad into your country. Please note that any customs clearance costs of import taxes on replacements (if applicable) are the solo responsibility of the customer and do not qualify for any refund.

WHERE CAN I FIND MOW’S TUTORIALS AND PRODUCTS CONFIGURATIONS?

For now, we upload our videos instruction on MOW Minimal Organiser Wear Youtube channel and a selection of them in our configurations’ section.

HOW CAN I CLEAN AND WASH MOW’s GEARS?

Please follow our item’s care instruction!
Our bags are fully submergible, so you can submerge the bags in mild water and wash the interior and shell fabric. Before clean the bags’ interior remember to detach the inner accessories.
Please avoid any harsh chemicals and hot water (>35C°) when washing your pack. We find that a light soap works best for cleaning them. Do not machine wash, dry clean or iron your item(s).

After salt water full or temporary immersions, you will have to carefully clean your item(s) with fresh water

WHAT IF I LOSE A REMOVABLE ACCESSORY?

We based our modularity system by attaching and detaching a large number of bags, pouches and accessories. In the event that those items (or similar items) are lost, or misplaced, we are sorry but we don’t offer warranty replacements.

GENERAL LIABILITY

We have designed and built our products to fit well with nearly all the digital devices, to protect your valuable electronics from water and scratches even in full immersion or extreme weather conditions.

We believe our gear is very safe to use. MOW Minimal Organised Wear is not liable for damage to laptop, mobiles, cameras, equipments, clothing or anything in your surrounding environment as a result of using them. MOW Minimal Organised Wear is not liable for bodily injury to yourself or others as a result of using our stuff, so please listen to your inner soul and be careful when you’re out there having fun and testing the extreme.

Before any product use, configurations or water immersion check our videos’ instruction.
Our bags are fully radio frequency welded, fully waterproof and single piece tested before packing.
Yet the waterproof grade (check feature section in each product) is different from item to item as the closing system. We highly suggest to master your product before jumping in extreme conditions.

We haven’t designed or tested MOW’s items as safety tools. We highly suggest you to try the pack in water only if you are a professional swimmer. So don’t rely on the pack for swimming if you are not a good swimmer.

MY MOW’s GEAR GOT HOLE OR ABRASION

Holes and tears are repairable. Please give us a detailed description and/or mark the defect for us. We fix holes and tear so that your bag is waterproof. Please contact our customer service for more details.

Can I repair holes or abrasion in my bag by myself?
Yes, you can! We recommend the repair set Tip-Top Camplast bicycle repair set. Further repair for travelling are: Tenacious Sealing & Repair Tape by McNett, and Tenacious Tape Max by McNett.

My bag starts fraying, is that normal?
Depending on the material, fraying can be normal but not mandatory. You may cut off the fringes with a pair of scissors and the problem will be fully solved.

If my seams are fraying, are they still waterproof?
Yes, MOW’s welding lines are usually 1,5cm wide. The faying is only at the welded patch cutting edge.
We check and test every seam welding before packing, so you will be well protected by our gear, worry free!

WHAT ABOUT MOW’s ZIPS, SLIDERS AND PULLERS?

Since 2020 our Zips and accessories are upgraded to YKK’s. YKK is a world leader and one of the best suppliers around the Globe.

Are the zips waterproof?
No! Our zips are water resistant.

Why are not using waterproof zips?
As you might understand we take waterproof very seriously. Based on our standards the only
immersion proof zips are the airtight ones.
The airtight zips are large sizes with a handle as pull zipper, to make sure that you will have enough grip to close correctly the zips. Yes, they will request a certain amount of force to close and open it.
Over that they request special maintenance to work properly with lubricants and waxes.
Despite their sizes and specifications, they cannot be considered waterproof. We believe in Minimal and Functional wear, so we decided that waterproof zips are not our best choice for now.

Are the bag pockets waterproof?
It depends on the item you selected, some pockets have air ventilation holes and others are waterproof. For full immersion we always recommend to use the bags main compartment and so protect your gear with a second shells for extra protections from the inside.
All our pockets linings are welded to the shell fabric, so do not worry, your bag(s) main compartment will be fully waterproof and it will stand to any weather conditions.

What if my zips brake or detach?
Our zips are welded to the bag’s shell and they can be adjusted but not fully replaced. Please give us a detailed description and/or mark the defect for us and we will assist you with a customized solution.
YKK’s zip are almost unbreakable but in our first project ever we could not use YKK’s. So if you are one of our earliest adaptor and your zips run in to any issue, please contact us here and we will arrange your sliders substitution, no question asked!

FAQ - SHIPPING AND RETURNS

ARE YOU SHIPPING GLOBALLY?

Our bags are delivered in over 101 countries, so yes we do Worldwide shipments.

New orders tracking are activated within 48h form each new contribution, the average delivery time is 7 working days.
Our automatically shipping fees calculator will indicate the actual cost in the cart before your checkout.

If your destination is not included in our automatic calculator, please contact our logistic and within 24 hours we will customize your best shipping route.

WHERE I CAN FIND MY TRACKING NUMBER?

After 48h from the order confirmation email, we will process your shipment. Once your order is shiped you will receive an email that will contain an tracking number. In case you don’t see this email please check your spam folder.

For further information on your parcel contact our logistic department now!

HOW LONG UNTIL I WILL RECEIVE MY ORDER?

48H during business days to process and fulfil your order.
Transit time: 7-10 working days to deliver the bags to our main destinations.
Covid19 crisis: MOW’s shipping channels are fully operative Globally. Social distancing forced international logistics center to work under a numbered team. Our logistic assistance will follow every shipment and inform you on your actual shipping status until your waterproof solution will be safely delivered into your hands.

All orders will take up to two business days for our warehouse to process and fulfil orders. Most international orders can take between 10-20 business days and will have to pass through customs before delivery. We put our best efforts into meeting delivery times, but customs can add additional time and delays to our orders as well as impose import fees.

CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?

Any products purchased from this website can be returned within 30 days.
Mow’s 30-day return policy is on all regular, non-sale/non-discontinued items. If you are not 100% satisfied with the quality and look of the products, simply return the item (s) to us.
The purchase should be returned in their original condition and unused within 30 days for a full refund, minus shipping charges. The customer is responsible for shipping the item back, including any fees that may apply.
Remind that before any refound, we need to receive your item back to the closest warehouse to your destination and inspect it. The returned goods must be in its original packing, hang tags cannot be removed and still be on the merchandise as we shipped to you

If you have bought your item from an authorized dealer or distributor, please reach out to the corresponding dealer for refund or exchange.
Original shipping costs are not refunded on returns, and customers are responsible for return shipping unless the reason for the return is a warranty defect.

Please note that it can take up to two weeks to process your return once the item(s) have been received.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY AND DELIVERY TIME?

Due the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many of our fulfillment centers are operating under social distancing and under numbered. Please allow for additional handling time to process and ship out new orders. MOW’s appointed one logistics operator to your order and we will inform you in case any of your shipment will incur in additional delays. Our fulfillment partners are all doing their best to safely get your order out and delivered to you as fast as possible. MOW’s worldwide logistic is open, all our shipping channels are open and fully operative and we cannot wait to deliver extreme waterproof solutions into your hands.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS & DELIVERY TIME:
We process order from Monday to Friday. Handling time is 48h during workdays. You will receive an order confirmation upon purchase and the tracking confirmation via email.

Please allow 1–2 days to begin tracking your package. Worldwide international orders usually arrive in 10 working days depending on your final location. During this critical time, we have implemented our logistic assistance and you will have an appointed operator that will help you track your package until your item (s) will be delivered.

If there are mail restrictions in your country to new Covide-19 outbreaks your order will be held at your final destination fulfillment centers, then shipped out once these restrictions are over. Our appointed logistic assistance will follow your tracking and help you with your delivery during this challenging time.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES:
We’d love to offer free shipping to every order and in part we share them with you! International shipping cost is raising without control, even if it comes from a local warehouse.

What we charge you is only a part of the actual shipping fees, so a mere contribution to cover the ongoing maintenance costs of international warehouse and pick and pack orders.

Covid has destabilized sea and air shipments worldwide with rates that are raising every day for months and almost doubled since early 2021. We will keep studying customized solution to our main destination to facilitate delivery time, products exchange or returns. To see actual shipping rate, add products to your shopping cart and add your address. Before your payment is processed you will be able to see actual shipping rates.

INTERNATIONAL PACKAGING:
We have designed and prepared a recycled carton boxes for your MOW’s shipments.
If the international shipping rates are still rising, external cartons have larger CBM and weight than sealed shipping bag. MOW reserve the right to switch the packaging without prior advise and at its solo discretion with the objective to minimize the shipping rate to your final destination.

WILL I HAVE TO PAY TAXES?

Our goal is to minimize and prepaid duties by shipping from one of our international warehouses.

All orders are shipped from one of our logistic partner’s international warehouses which are located in US, Netherlands, China and Hong Kong. If you live in a country other than the U.S., European Union, China, UK and Hong Kong you will most likely pay taxes, a small extra charge. Tax rates vary by country and you will need to check with the customs department in your country to determine if you will be charged extra and what will be charged.

MOW Minimal Organised Wear is not responsible for any customs, duties or import fees associated with receiving your order. Fees, duties, and taxes depends on the laws and regulations specific to your final shipping destination. To our main destinations our logistic partner will pay taxes on your behalf before shipping. If any of these charges apply to your order, they will be added to your order at checkout to be prepaid with your order placement. Some countries allow for some or all of these charges to be paid upon delivery of the product. If this is applicable to your order, it will be reflected as an option on the checkout page. WHAT IF I AM NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM OR RECEIVE MY PACKAGE?

In case our shipping carrier attempts the first delivery and you don’t get it because you’re not there, wrong address, moved without notifying us, and the package returns back to our warehouse, it will be the buyer’s responsibility to pay for re-shipment.

We will do what we can to avoid those painful situations. Any shipment will have a corresponding tracking # sent 48h after your contribution, our logistic assistance will follow your parcel movement and when/where possible help you with any shipping issues, but please remember:
– Carriers usually deliver between 9am and 12.30am and from 2pm till 6.30pm.
– Please note you are the only one that can materially pick your item (s) at your doorstep or, in case of failed delivery in 7 working days, at your local post office. After that you package will return to our partner warehouse and you will have to pay the full charge for your second shipment.

In case any custom inspection ends with your item (s) not to be claimed, your order might be destroyed by your custom officer within 7-10 working days.

In rare case we will be able to intervene and manage the product return against heavy extra shipping fees. In this case the extra shipping fees or the item(s) losses are solo responsibilities of the buyer.

We will follow your tracking from day one and make sure to inform you about your shipping status all the way, until a full and secure delivery.

CAN I MODIFY OR CANCEL MY ORDER?

Please Make sure to mark the correct address, email and phone numbers. In case any mistakes you can cancel your order and place a new one. We usually consider 3-10 hour window when the order is placed to when it is processed by our fulfilment center. It is a very short time to make any changes and it requires a lot of coordination and different time zones.
